The Foundry Wedding NYC
I must say Ean & Stephanie wedding was very special to me. After growing up with Ean during those adventurous Tallahassee summers, we became like brothers. Over the years we had lost touch going to college in two different countries. We met up a few times in Orlando during family vacation. During this time he would always have Stephanie by his side. I knew from the first time I saw these two together that they were more than perfect for each other. After receiving a phone call from Ean about documenting The Foundry Wedding NYC I was more than honored.
Stephanie and Ean chose The Foundry LlC, a historic 18th century building with swoon-worthy architecture, for their venue. Bride Stephanie wanted a soft, floral feel for her wedding, which is a perfect balance to the industrial design of their venue. “My memorable moment was the ceremony itself, “ said Stephanie. “It was very personal and all about us. Seeing him as I walked to the alter was priceless.” When we asked Stephanie what her biggest piece of advice would be for all of our bride-to-be readers, she recommended hiring a wedding coordinator if your budget allows for it. She noted that if she had a redo, she would cut costs elsewhere and invest in a coordinator to make sure things run smoothly.
Stephanie walked down the aisle in a gorgeous Casablanca Bridal dress and was perfectly complemented by her bridesmaids who wore beautiful slate gray dresses by Occasions by Jim Hjelm. Stephanie and Ean’s lush outdoor courtyard reception was decorated with cream-colored linens and floral arrangements and a dreamy, three tiered white cake adorned with roses.
